Firearms blunder

Thanks to Roger McPherson who spotted a mistake I made concerning the M1911 .45 ACP. Turns out you can’t engage the thumb safety unless the hammer’s cocked.
I’ve corrected this mistake in the electronic versions of the book, so anyone who’s already bought GCDC will mysteriously see the changes. The mistake will disappear just like a general reviewing the May Day parade in Red Square might disappear from a photo after he’s fallen from favor.

But if you’ve already bought GCDC as a paperback, then you own a rare first edition with the mistake. I can’t go back in time and remove those from existence. Yet.
